How it works

Three steps to aerials that book events.

Post the venue or the event, compare bids from local certified pilots, book the one you want. Whether it is marketing content or coverage for a wedding day.

01
Post the venue or event
Location, the date if it is an event, and what you want captured. Takes about three minutes and costs nothing.
02
Review pilot bids
Certified pilots near the venue send you bids with their portfolio and price attached. Compare the work, not just the number.
03
Book direct, get your files
Pick your pilot and work with them directly. Finished files land in your cloud folder, typically inside 48 hours of the flight.
Copy this into your job post

The aerial set that markets a venue.

Hand this to any pilot you book and you will get a marketing set that shows a venue at its best. Most venues paste it straight into the job description.

Standard venue aerial set
Venue tested
01Establishing approachThe hero shot. The venue and its setting in one sweeping frame.
02Grounds orbitA slow circle showing the full property, gardens, and layout.
03Ceremony & reception spacesLawns, pavilions, and terraces read far better from above.
04Setting & surroundingsWater, vineyards, mountains, or skyline, shown rather than described.

What venues and couples book

Every kind of event, one place to post.

From a venue that needs fresh marketing content to a couple that needs their wedding day captured from above, the same three steps apply.

Venue marketing content
Fresh aerials of the grounds and spaces for your website and socials. The content that makes a couple stop scrolling and book a tour.
Wedding-day coverage
Ceremony, reception, and a highlight clip from above, a perspective no ground photographer can capture on the day.
Seasonal refresh
Spring blooms, fall foliage, fresh snow. A quick seasonal shoot keeps your marketing current all year round.
Promotional video
Short vertical clips for Instagram and Facebook, longer horizontal cuts for your website and venue tours.
Corporate & large events
Festivals, galas, and corporate gatherings. Aerials that capture the scale and energy of a full event.
Golf, wineries & resorts
Sweeping aerials of courses, vineyards, and resort grounds that show the whole property as a destination.
Straight answer on cost

You set the budget. Pilots bid on it.

There is no rate card here because your market sets the rate. Post the job with the budget you have in mind, and certified pilots near the venue tell you what they will do it for. Posting is free, FlyDroneHub takes no commission, and you pay the pilot directly, so the number you agree on is the number you pay.

FlyDroneHub was built by Richard Hudman, a 21-year military veteran and working Part 107 pilot, on a simple idea: the pilot does the work, the pilot keeps the money, and the client never pays a middleman. That is the whole model.

Common questions

Wedding & venue drone FAQ.

Why should a venue offer drone photography?

Aerial photos and video show a venue the way couples experience it: the grounds, the setting, the surroundings, all in one frame. Fresh aerial content helps a venue stand out online and book more events.

Who books and pays, the venue or the couple?

Either works. A venue can commission marketing content directly, or a couple can post and pay for wedding-day coverage themselves. A venue can simply point couples to FlyDroneHub as a trusted resource.

Is there any liability for the venue?

No. When a couple books and pays a pilot directly, the venue is only making a referral. Every pilot is FAA Part 107 certified, so a venue is never recommending an unlicensed operator.

What does venue or wedding drone coverage cost?

You set the budget and certified pilots bid on it, so pricing reflects your local market rather than a fixed national rate. Posting the job is free and FlyDroneHub takes no commission, so the price you agree on is the price you pay.

Which areas do you cover?

The Mid-Atlantic region is live now: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. The Mountain and Southwest region is also live, covering Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Texas, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. More regions open as demand grows.

Your venue deserves the aerial shot.

Post it free, compare bids from certified local pilots, and have finished files back within days.
